I could care less what drums or cymbals chippendale uses, and im sure he feels the same way... what i do want to know is what electronic gear he uses with both lightning bolt, mindflayer, and his other projects... A few things.. 1) vocoder.. its not an actual (item) its moreso an effect.. am I right? Chippendale uses a phone reciever run through a variety of distortion pedals(all boss if i am correct) and then through a line 6 DL4 multi-delay pedal.. This I know. But what are all these other pedals?? Here is the best pic I can find of his lineup.. www.laserbeast.com/photos/063006/smith-02.jpgAlso, sometimes he mounts a controller type device on his bass drum.. pictured here www.laserbeast.com/photos/070106/holger-11.jpgWhat exactly is this device and what does it control.. vocals or drum triggers??? 2) Does he trigger his drums ever? The wikipedia entry mentions he uses a KMD 8102 Drum Exciter... WTF is that? It doesnt exist as that. It sounds like in Mindflayer he triggers his drums (bass and toms)with various octave and decay effects.. What does he use to do this? 3) Shortly put... tell me everything you know about his setup aside from his drum brand or cymbal setup. Also, With mindflayer.. What are all the devices in this picture www.mindflayer.com/images/grand-rapids.jpgAre the two small devices on top of the amp remotes.. as well as what the dude is holding? Do they use old synthesizers?? Discuss....

His other pedals are a Boss Octave (Brown), a Morley Wah (te one he has his foot on), and the first in the line (right to left) looks kinda like a EHX Nano of some kind.
The stuff on the amps on the mindflayer pic are two mixers, a graphic equalizer and two rack effects. The big horn is either made into a amp speaker, or is just for decoration. The other guy looks like he´s playing an Accordion
